Project Manager
Pay Range $38-$63/hr
We are seeking a talented and motivated project manager to be a vital part of our project management team. If you have a passion for project management, we want to hear from you!
This is full-time role located at our facility in Cambridge, Ontario. Day shift Monday to Friday with some overtime.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

Develop and promote a strong customer relationship through a customer centric approach to project management.

Take full ownership of project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communication, and risk.

Our projects involve the design, building, testing, and installation of complex electromechanical systems.

Oversee the project from initiation through to closing while balancing the project management triangle of cost, quality, and time.

Work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Facilitate and oversee the resolution of issues and challenges that naturally occur during complex multidisciplinary projects.

Encourage and mentor employees to ensure the team’s morale and efficiency is maintained at the highest level.

Direct the compilation of required project data, including budget, time constraints, contracts, and technical information.

Develop detailed schedules for complex projects, outlining all activities required for successful completion.

Monitor team progress on a daily basis, pinpoint possible issues with design, budgets, schedules, and customers.

Gather perspectives and input using appropriate techniques to build consensus and increase awareness.
Qualifications
- Post- secondary degree specializing in the STEM field
- Proven flexibility in management style is a requirement
- Excellent planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented with a team-oriented style
- Completion of, or in the process of achieving the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset
- Must have a proven track record of providing positive leadership and coordination to a multi-disciplined project design and build team
- Must have acted in a leading role with a minimum of three years’ experience in a variety of projects/markets on a multidisciplinary team
- Preference will be given to those who possess an excellent manufacturing or process engineering background, a superior mechanical aptitude, and proven trouble-shooting skills
- An ability to work effectively with customers according to deadlines and under pressure filled conditions is essential
