Manual Machinist

Angstrom Engineering® is seeking a talented and motivated manual machinist to be a vital part of our production team. If you have a passion for precision, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work with a variety of tools and materials, we want to hear from you!

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

  • Resourceful with a proven ability to complete tasks within predetermined deadlines.
  • Work in a manner that garners respect from your peers and makes others around you better.
  • Ability to run machine shop equipment, lathe, milling machine, drill press and saw.
  • Ability to use TIG welding equipment is considered an asset.
  • Able to take initiative to stay on top of things so that work flows smoothly in a busy work environment.
  • Understand the importance of accuracy by verifying the dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
  • Adjust and set up mechanical devices such as transfers, manipulators, and actuators.
