Angstrom Engineering Hosts Local Nanotech Students

March 29, 2017

In February we had students from the Nanotechnology Engineering program at the University of Waterloo visit our facilities. They were taken on a tour of our production floor to see some of our systems in various stages of construction, in addition to learning about thin film deposition basics and the equipment that makes it possible. They got a chance to see firsthand what a Canadian nanotechnology company looks like and met some of the Nanotechnology Engineering alumni that work at Angstrom, which is a valuable experience for a relatively new university program with few graduating classes so far. The students found the visit informative and worthwhile, and enjoyed the free pizza lunch! We are looking forward to hosting more events like this in the future.

To read more about it, University of Waterloo shared their own story about it here.
